**IMPORTANT: To request Te Whare o Rukutia for Fringe 2025, click the Enquire & Apply button below and send us a message.** For the duration of Fringe, Te Whare o Rukutia is a subsidised venue for hire in the centre of town, just off the Octagon and next to the Fringe hub. Te Whare and the hub are right at the heart of the festival and as such the venue is highly sought after. Co-Director / Creative Producer Kate Schrader will be programming Te Whare o Rukutia prior to registrations closing in November. You can express interest in using Te Whare o Rukutia as your venue during Fringe within Eventotron, but you must hit up Kate for a chat first. Please note that expressing interest does not guarantee you will be offered the venue. This is at the discretion of the Fringe team. We will endeavour to let you know as soon as we can and recommend alternative venues if we think Te Whare o Rukutia is not a good fit. Putting together the Te Whare o Rukutia programme is something of a puzzle, we aim to start confirming time slots late September / early October.
